moveorganic™ concept

The moveorganic™ concept is based on the multi-layered application of several techniques. The result is a training that is biomechanically designed to meet the individual needs of our students.

In this chapter, we will focus more on these techniques and our training strategies. These consciousness-based interventions are safe, non-invasive, and a good place to begin your transformation.

The application of the following techniques always remains consistent with the basic principles of individual approach, step by step, and adaptation.

Meditation

Meditation does not just make an individual calmer; it also has beneficial effects on many different measurements of one’s health. It produces significant rises in a variety of antibodies and blood cells, thereby boosting immunity, and significantly improves the body’s ability to resist disease and the effects of stress. Meditation has been shown to lower blood pressure, improve an individual’s resting heart rate, reduce the incidence of strokes, heart disease and cancer, diminish chronic pain, reduce anxiety and depression and ameliorate many others diseases.

Visualization

Visualization is the most used technique by trainers in professional sports regarding the mental preparation of athletes. At its core, it is an active form of meditation that teaches an individual how to choose and focus on images that can positively influence their emotions and energy. It is a natural process that allows you tap into your inner sources of peace and calm, so that you can respond positively to events in your life. What you see in your mind’s eye can strongly influence your beliefs and achievements. This technique is so effective because our central nervous system does not distinguish between real and imagined events, but rather sees and accepts all images as if they are real.

Body Sensing

Body sensing is the skill of having your body and mind working together as a team. The more you practice building a clear communication link between your mind and body, the quicker your training will reach higher levels characterized by greater ease and joy. Your body can tell you everything you need to know about how to achieve optimal results; all you have to do is learn how to listen.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation and Deep Abdominal Breathing

Both of these techniques are used to prepare you for some of the most demanding tasks, such as visualization and meditation. While there are many ways to become relaxed, these methods are easy to learn, quick and effective.

Training Strategies

To be able to explain our training strategies in a more explicit way, we have structured a basic scheme for each training session. We must remind you, however, that our trainings are strictly individualized and that this basic scheme is only a skeleton of one’s future personal program.

Each training structure contains the following:

Foundation

Your journey begins when you empty your mind of all of the overused and self defeating ideas that you might have inherited about athletics, business, and life. By opening your mind and becoming receptive, a mindset called the Beginner’s mind, you can invite many new attitudes with which you can build a new approach to your entire life. Using your Beginner’s Mind, you will begin to see things in a refreshing, exhilarating way, and become aware of multitude of alternative avenues that can lead to extraordinary performance. We can create this foundation with exercises specifically designed for your individual and mental preparation, making your start easier and more confident.

Frame

On this part of the journey, you will be constructing new mental frames of reference from which to develop higher levels of performance. These psychological postures will help you to more easily implement all strategies for extraordinary performance in the later phases of your development.

The inner structure

On this level, you will develop and use advanced strategies and techniques for extraordinary performance, both on and off the field. By redefining concepts such as competition, winning, motivation and goal setting, you will be able to successfully plan and execute strategies, regardless of their outcomes. Whether you’re a coach, athlete, manager or parent, you will be able to learn specific ways how to facilitate positive changes with people who look to you for positive guidance.

The obstacles

During this part, you will learn how to recognise the most common obstacles and how to use different techniques to overcome them. You will learn to see many of these obstacles as opportunities in disguise.

The finishing touches

The Finishing Touches are the attainment and practice of the five advanced virtues: integrity, adaptation, persistence, balance and simplicity. These principles will serve you well as anchors of stability during the cycles of life’s tides. They are sources of strength that will protect you from the chaos and fluctuations that could otherwise affect your performance. As in other parts, techniques and tools are provided to help you practice and maintain these virtues for a more empowered sense of self.
